Radon Gas Measurement

Radon is an odorless gas that has been found to be a leading cause of lung cancer in the United States. Any home with more than 4.0 pCi/L poses a threat to your health. Radon is found at significant levels in over half the counties in Indiana and Kentucky.

Septic Inspections

The inspector will locate the septic system including the tank and lateral field. Next, we run water in the house to make sure it is properly flowing from the house to the holding tank by using dye. In a dye test, the inspector will introduce dye into the water that is being drained to verify there are no blockages from the home to the septic(holding) tank. From there, if accessible, we check the sludge level in the holding tank. If pumping the tank is needed, we will suggest those services in a well written report. Lastly, we walk the lateral field portion of the septic system to make sure it is in working order and there are no blockages or standing water.
